Job Summary

Drive compliance monitoring, audits, and qualitative sign-offs for the Allianz Commercial North America region. Report to the Regional Head of Compliance and design, implement, and maintain monitoring programs across the region’s LE/OE activities. Prepare and present monitoring and audit reporting for local and global boards, coordinate regulatory and audit requests, ensure findings are mitigated, and support a compliance ethic as best practice within the business.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and maintain compliance monitoring and audits for the Allianz Commercial North America region to ensure transparency on compliance program implementation.
•Prepare, perform, and follow up on compliance monitoring in NA Region LE and OE, ensuring appropriate handling of inquiries.
•Prepare reports on compliance monitoring and audit developments for the NA Regional Head for submission to local and global boards as needed.
•Ensure external/internal audit findings and requests are handled and mitigated through timely, correct responses and follow-up approach.
•Coordinate compliance audit-related and regulatory requests, including ensuring appropriate handling of requested sign-offs (e.g., economic sanctions, procurement).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 89,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Minimum 3 years of compliance/audit/governance experience in the insurance industry, with strong understanding of risks and controls.
•Knowledge of compliance processes and methodologies, including relevant US policies, laws, and regulations.
•Process design experience, ideally OPEX certified (or equivalent qualification).
•Excellent analytical skills to identify and resolve issues independently before they arise.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to build relationships and influence others; ability to use AI tools and strong Excel/Microsoft Office knowledge; BA in Business, law, economics, or related field.
