Key Responsibilities

  • •Actively support the Electrical Maintenance function, interpreting preventative maintenance instructions and documentation.
  • •Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment in accordance with established standards and PM routines.
  • •Support permit processes (ENABLON) as Permit Acceptor and provide feedback to build asset history.
  • •Diagnose electrical equipment breakdown/failure and propose/complete repairs to site standards, engaging technical resources as needed.
  • •Create/close SAP notifications and generate SAP Material Requisitions, support procedure/PM/risk assessment reviews, and respond to out-of-hours call-outs.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant approved apprenticeship/NVQ level 3 (or equivalent).
  • •Minimum City & Guilds/ONC certificate in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •Strong practical maintenance experience in an oil and gas/process or COMAH-regulated environment.
  • •Knowledge of electrical equipment and safe systems of work, including DSEAR and ATEX legislation.
  • •Ability to use Microsoft packages and SAP, plus appropriate physical capability for the role (work at height, confined spaces, breathing apparatus).
