Key Responsibilities

  • •Interpret behavioral health documentation and coding review results (ICD-10-CM and CPT) and translate them into actionable provider education and feedback.
  • •Determine whether flagged findings are accurate by confirming documentation/coding errors or identifying incorrectly flagged findings for correction and escalation.
  • •Answer provider and internal-team questions as a subject matter expert on behavioral health coding, documentation, and billing findings (ICD-10-CM, CPT).
  • •Deliver clear, accurate, and empathetic responses to providers through support channels (e.g., Zendesk).
  • •Contribute to provider education and knowledge base efforts, identify coding trends and risk areas, and recommend improvements to tooling, process, and training.

Key Requirements
