Job Summary

Join the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Quantity Surveying team to support pre- and post-contract cost activities for MEP works. You’ll prepare cost estimates, quantity take-offs, valuations, payment claims, and final accounts, while reviewing engineering drawings, design briefs, and contractor proposals. Partner with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with building regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Support and advise on M&E services and consultancy work.
•Review design briefs, contractor proposals, and engineering drawings for MEP works.
•Prepare cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and cost analyses for MEP works.
•Handle pre- and post-contract administration including contract documentation, variation assessment, valuations, payment claims, and final accounts.
•Attend site and consultant meetings and manage subcontractor works and related repair/maintenance cost analysis.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering from a recognized University.
•4–5 years of postgraduate experience in design, supervision, project management, cost estimate, tendering, and pre- and post-contract administration for mechanical or electrical disciplines.
•Applicants with a degree in Building or Quantity Surveying and conversant with mechanical and electrical building services may also be considered.
•Responsible, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
•Good interpersonal, teamwork, and English communication skills (written included).
