Key Responsibilities

  • •Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
  • •Control traffic near or around work zones and signal equipment operators to align, move, or adjust machinery and materials.
  • •Dig trenches/ditches, backfill, and compact and level earth to grade specifications.
  • •Measure, mark, and record distances/openings to help lay out construction work areas.
  • •Erect/dismantle scaffolding, forms, shoring, braces, barricades, and other temporary structures; maintain tools and materials and follow safety procedures.
