Job Summary

Own the delivery of a portfolio of data center expansion projects for NTT GDC India, ensuring capacity and footprint growth align with forecasts and business strategy. Lead capacity expansion planning, land and power due diligence, business case development and approvals, and post-approval project delivery to meet cost, time, and performance criteria. Manage project execution, risk registers, stakeholder coordination, master planning workshops, permitting/design, budgets, change control, and board documentation support.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and execute expansion capacity strategies for India and major markets based on available capacity, project pipeline, and medium-to-long term sales forecasts.
•Identify new land and power needs and lead search and due diligence to support successful acquisition.
•Develop and manage approvals for business cases for acquisitions and new building projects, then deliver and transfer projects to operations to meet business case cost, time, and performance criteria.
•Day-to-day management and coordination of approximately 3–4 expansion projects, including stakeholder management, workshops/meetings, execution plans, programme plans, risk registers, and monthly status reporting.
•Lead permitting/planning and agreement for lease through interdisciplinary collaboration, public/political engagement, project brief/design requirement definition, budgeting/change control, and support for customer and sales needs.

Key Requirements

•Manage the definition and successful delivery of a portfolio of expansion projects for NTT GDC India data center capacity and footprint.
•Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in project development, design, construction and/or program management of data centers or similar high-spec corporate real estate.
•Strong analytical skills with real estate finance knowledge, plus excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
•Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills across internal teams and suppliers.
•Demonstrated knowledge of data center design principles and delivery, including permitting, with international experience and ability to work to deadlines.
