Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain compliance with safety, food safety, and security standards.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on assigned automation, robotics, and control panels.
  • •Troubleshoot out-of-service equipment, act as an escalation point for lower-level technicians, and escalate to leadership/vendors as needed.
  • •Document all work in CMMS and ticketing systems as appropriate.
  • •Lead root cause analysis for major downtime events and support network-wide root cause analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •4-6 years of experience with conveyor, automation, robotics, PLC troubleshooting/programming, and communications protocols (e.g., Profi, DeviceNet, Ethernet TCP/IP).
  • •Advanced understanding of PLCs and automated processes, including in-depth experience with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs (programming, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance).
  • •Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
  • •High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in electronic technology or equivalent is preferred.
  • •Advanced computer skills and strong follow-through, judgment, and common sense with an execution-focused mindset.
