Key Responsibilities

  • •Recruit, hire, train, develop, and provide performance feedback to departmental personnel, administering HR policies consistently.
  • •Define and organize workflow using applicable technologies, monitor daily workflow, and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reporting of departmental activity.
  • •Organize and review monthly trends and standard/exception/KRI reports; provide guidance and training based on compliance and account reviews.
  • •Ensure compliance through quality control assessments (target compliance ratio of at least 90%) and review/approve key decisions and milestones.
  • •Support local and outside counsel and escalated borrower matters, ensuring processes minimize credit loss and out-of-pocket expenses.

Key Requirements

  • •College degree or at least 10 years of experience in default and special servicing functions (bankruptcy, foreclosure, referral, property preservation, REO, claims, charge-off, collections support, valuations).
  • •At least 5 years of management experience with increasing responsibility in a high-volume operation.
  • •Proficiency across multiple default servicing areas (e.g., foreclosure, bankruptcy, claims, preservation).
  • •Advanced knowledge of credit lending principles and risk management for collections and default servicing.
  • •Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with knowledge of investor guidelines and regulations relevant to the business unit.
