Job Summary

Operate and troubleshoot injection molding equipment to ensure only quality products are released to customers. Monitor production processes, record accurate production data, and track downtime, quality, and machine efficiency. Perform start-ups/shut-downs and material/color changes, respond to machine/mold issues, and develop corrective actions. Train personnel on technical capabilities while following all safety and Food Safety/cGMP, ISO, and EHS procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Exemplify company values and professionalism when representing Amcor inside and outside the plant.
•Keep equipment in top working order by troubleshooting minor machine issues and distinguishing molding issues from machinery or process issues.
•Monitor production process, perform start-up/shut-down molding operations, and execute material and color changes.
•Record accurate production data, track downtime, quality performance, and machine efficiency, and develop corrective actions for machine/molding issues.
•Train personnel to improve technical capabilities and ensure safety compliance with Environment, Health and Safety, ISO, Food Safety, and cGMP policies.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Prior plastic injection molding experience is highly preferred.
