Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the systems and engineering org through a shift from traditional IT/admin to platform and data engineering.
  • •Own the technical architecture, design, and delivery roadmap for business systems, enterprise data, and integrations.
  • •Directly manage and grow systems and engineering-track managers and direct reports, including technical mentorship and career pathing.
  • •Establish and codify standards, style guides, workflows, ceremonies, and other engineering/systems practices into a coherent operating model leveraging AI and agentic processes.
  • •Own security, RBAC, and data-governance posture for BADaS platforms, including audit and access-control risk; partner with teams to deliver the roadmap and review vendor/partner technical designs.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in software, platform, or data engineering, including 4+ years managing engineers and engineering managers.
  • •Strong organizational leadership across hiring, career pathing, and building succession depth in a multi-manager org.
  • •Experience owning team-based technical architecture and engineering practices (repo management, CI/CD, code review standards, and test/regression discipline).
  • •Ability to manage a technically mixed org (engineers, data engineers, platform/systems administrators) and raise the technical bar of admin-facing work.
  • •Deep familiarity with service-oriented architectures using server-side JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js in a primarily serverless AWS environment, including REST/GraphQL and authorization strategies (OAuth, JWT).
