Key Responsibilities

  • •Frame problems with clients by cutting through ambiguity and deciding what is worth building, including when ML is not the answer.
  • •Own solution design by selecting modeling approach/architecture and justifying trade-offs to engineers and executives.
  • •Profile and assess data for feasibility (completeness, bias, label quality) and define success metrics meaningful at scale.
  • •Build evaluation harnesses and baselines, benchmark models, and run bias/fairness testing for sensitive impacts.
  • •Support the build through model iteration and error analysis, and measure pilot results across sites to inform wider rollout.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building data science or ML solutions with a track record of reaching real users.
  • •Strong command of Python and SQL, plus the standard analysis stack (including Pandas and NoSQL).
  • •Hands-on depth across at least two ML areas such as LLMs/generative AI, computer vision, or classical ML.
  • •Production experience deploying models (containers, pipelines, monitoring, retraining).
  • •Comfort with cloud and distributed data processing (Azure/AWS/GCP and Spark/Databricks or equivalent), plus strong applied statistics and clear client communication.
