Lead the strategy and execution for Monzo’s Flex borrowing product, guiding cross-functional teams (Engineering, Credit, Data, Design, and leadership) to identify opportunities, optimize profitability across segments, and deliver high-impact initiatives. Own the product vision, commercial performance, and customer outcomes while building and leading a high-performing product management team in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Set the strategy for Flex, directing one of Monzo’s most important revenue-driving products and identifying new commercial opportunities across customer segments.
•Drive commercial performance by shaping propositions across multiple risk segments and analysing unit economics and long-term profitability curves.
•Champion the customer by ensuring outcomes are rooted in simple, transparent, and delightful experiences alongside commercial goals.
•Build and lead a high-performing team of Product Managers, delivering multiple high-impact initiatives through direct reports.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Credit, Data, and Design to execute at pace and scale borrowing responsibly.

•Proven execution and leadership in fast-paced, multi-workstream settings; ability to lead cross-functional teams across technical, credit, and governance stakeholders.
•Track record delivering high-impact initiatives through direct reports; ability to go deep in the detail while guiding others.
•Strong cross-functional collaboration with Credit, Data, and Engineering partners; ability to engage deeply with data and credit partners.
