Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate complex pre-lit credit hire claims submitted from multiple organisations, including those flagged by an intelligence team.
  • •Perform technical investigations to support repudiation of claims up to £25,000.
  • •Develop and apply knowledge of pre-proceedings credit hire, the file lifecycle, and common law/litigation principles.
  • •Assess costs and protective offers and help prepare cases for litigation.
  • •Manage workloads by following processes and maintaining sensitivity, tact, and decision-making under pressure.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3 GCSEs or equivalent are essential, with a degree preferable.
  • •12 months of exposure to credit hire cases in a relevant credit hire environment.

  • •Excellent listening and verbal communication skills, including good telephone negotiation skills.
  • •Good IT skills including Word and Outlook, with experience of a Case Management System preferred.
