Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver specialist technical consultancy and design services for traffic control engineering projects for internal and external clients.
  • •Produce design packages including layout drawings, design reports, ITS1827 forms and MOVA data sets for junctions and crossings.
  • •Contribute to RAMS, hazard logs and technical assurance evidence.
  • •Provide implementation support (FAT, SAT, MOVA Bus priority, SCOOT Validation) and respond to technical queries and gate reviews.
  • •Coordinate with highways, structures, drainage, geotechnical, environment and traffic teams to integrate technology with civil and electrical works, attend client meetings UK-wide, and mentor junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, or Civil Engineering
  • •Knowledge of traffic control engineering design standards and traffic signal technology applications
  • •Proficiency in delivering technically assured deliverables (AutoCAD, Civils3D), equipment schedules, ITS1827 forms, and MOVA designs
  • •NHSS8 / HERS registered
  • •Experience in traffic control engineering design and MOVA control
