Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform electro-mechanical technical functions including design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly.
  • •Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system/subsystem problems; perform new system and NPI installations and field upgrades as needed.
  • •Execute moderate testing and troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, and technical instructions.
  • •Maintain safety standards by following training and safety/security policies, reporting hazards, and using required protective equipment.
  • •Support quality and process improvement by compiling documentation, assisting in rework, and generating quality notifications for malfunctions.

Key Requirements

  • •Perform design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems.
  • •Troubleshoot system-level and component-level issues in electrical and mechanical subsystems using schematics, diagrams, and technical descriptions.
  • •Compile logbooks and test procedure documentation, and assist in revising/developing department procedures.
  • •Be able to perform mechanical/electrical/pneumatic & vacuum and process testing as required, including clean-room work and use of PPE.
  • •Meet physically demanding job requirements including standing/walking in tight spaces and using hand/power tools; driving/operating heavy machinery may be required.
