Design and develop next-generation RF and digital satellite communication systems for commercial, civil, and national security programs. Work within a Space and Launch Engineering team to define and verify requirements and interfaces, create performance and link budgets, analyze signal-processing models, and assist with trade studies. Support prototype demonstrations, unit-level integration and performance simulations, and ASIC/FPGA-level system design and verification.

•Develop and verify multi-rate, fixed-point digital signal processing architectures for communication payloads.
•Allocate, define, and verify requirements and interfaces for digital communication payload development.
•Develop performance and link budgets and conduct performance analysis of signal processing models, including trade studies.
•Support prototype demonstrations, unit-level integration/performance simulations, and ASIC/FPGA-level system design and verification.

Key Requirements

•Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (final Secret post-start required) and the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship as a condition of employment.

•1+ years of experience with signal processing or image processing.
•1+ years of experience with electronic systems engineering.
•Experience developing algorithms and/or working with hardware implementation on ASICs or FPGAs (preferred).
