Create DevOps-focused technical documentation and contribute to lead generation via webinars, blog posts, and industry events.

Key Responsibilities

•Support field sales by helping customers understand the value of Kong API Management & Connectivity solutions.
•Drive the sales lifecycle from discovery and requirement gathering through demos/reviews into production.
•Support PoCs throughout customer evaluations.
•Onboard and train new customers while establishing and growing revenue potential with existing customers.
•Coordinate with support, product, and engineering to prioritize customer needs and create technical documentation for DevOps and implementations.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of pre-sales Solution Engineering or relevant experience in a SaaS, open-source, or enterprise software company.
•Experience working with open-source technology.
•Foundational knowledge of API management and integration, cloud computing trends, and open-source business models.
•Confidently present and lead discussions with C-/Director-level executives, as well as Product Managers and Engineers.
•Enthusiasm for a fast-paced startup culture.
