Job Summary

Shape and deliver Emirates Airline’s Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) learning and development strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance and industry-leading safety standards. Lead SEP training direction, oversee evidence-based competency-based training (CBTA), and develop trainers and SEP Training Specialists. Measure training impact with robust metrics, align programmes to operational needs of cabin crew, and manage budget/commercial activities to deliver cost-effective training and strengthen strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the strategic direction of Emirates’ Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) training, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and delivery of business objectives within budget.
•Oversee the design and continuous evolution of evidence-based learning programmes aligned to regulatory and operational requirements.
•Develop a high-performance culture by coaching and developing SEP Training Specialists to deliver priorities and projects within agreed timelines and scope.
•Evaluate training impact using robust metrics and insights to optimize training outcomes and meet internal and external audit standards.
•Manage budget and commercial activities to ensure cost-effective training delivery and strengthen strategic partnerships.

Key Requirements

•Completed Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
•10+ years of experience in Flight Operations and Service Delivery.
•Extensive experience with airline regulatory, governmental, and legal compliance at local and international levels.
•Recognised Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) subject matter expert with strong knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements.
•Strong understanding of adult learning principles, learning design, and training methodologies.
