Job Summary

Lead the strategic vision and execution of AWS Public Cloud platform services, including an enterprise EKS platform and other AWS compute, storage, and serverless services. Manage the AWS platform engineering team and partner cross-functionally with security, architecture, SRE, network engineering, FinOps, and Cloud product. Drive resilient, secure, and scalable platforms; optimize cloud spend; and standardize patterns for GenAI/AI/ML and AI Ops use cases while reporting insights to senior leadership.

•Define and lead the strategic vision and implementation of AWS Cloud platform services, including EKS and related AWS capabilities.
•Lead the AWS platform engineering team to enhance the EKS platform and enable AWS native services with focus on customer experience.
•Partner with security, architecture, SRE, network engineering, cloud operations, and application teams to define and implement cloud best practices.
•Optimize AWS spend across compute, storage, networking, and managed services; continuously improve reliability, efficiency, cost, and security posture.
•Standardize patterns for Gen AI, AI/ML, and AI Ops use cases; collaborate with product teams on OKRs; and produce executive-level reporting.

Salary: USD 144,250 - 256,250 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
•15+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience, including 8+ years driving AWS large engineering teams at scale.
•Deep understanding of cloud technologies including AWS and Google Cloud, with experience in cloud orchestration and automation.
•Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure as code.
•Experience with observability tools including Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, and Dynatrace; strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
