Key Responsibilities

•Direct and oversee train movements within the quarry to ensure safe and efficient operations.
•Perform switching, coupling, and uncoupling of railcars to create proper train configurations.
•Conduct pre-movement safety checks on railcars, tracks, and surrounding areas, including verifying doors and clear areas.
•Coordinate loading operations with plant personnel and assist locomotive engineers with safety and operational support.
•Document railcar loadings, movements/delays, and maintenance needs; resolve operational issues to minimize production and delivery disruptions.
