Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Write, review, and execute test plans for development, integration, factory, and sea testing.
  • •Oversee Autonomous Underwater Vessel (AUV) operations, monitor vehicle performance, sensor data, and mission progress in real-time; address technical issues and implement contingency plans.
  • •Gather, analyse, and interpret data from AUV operations to inform test point progression and design and development to enhance AUV capabilities.
  • •Coordinate AUV launch and recovery evolutions, execute day-to-day test operations, and write daily operations and test reports.
  • •Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and upgrades of AUVs in the field, operating the maintenance management system.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
  • •5+ years experience of working within a team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists through integration, test, verification, and demonstration efforts.
  • •Proven leader and manager with the ability to master a technical system and support it in austere environments.
  • •Strong aptitude for problem solving in unstructured situations at the interface of hardware, software, and networking.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a NV2 security clearance.
