Key Responsibilities

  • •Define, architect, and document end-to-end security software solutions for MCU platforms, including secure boot, FOTA, runtime security, and secure execution environments.
  • •Develop software frameworks for cryptographic key management and manufacturing-time provisioning configurations.
  • •Design interfaces/middleware to integrate boot-time and runtime hardware security services provided by HSMs.
  • •Collaborate with hardware systems engineers to co-define and integrate security hardware IPs such as HSM, SHE, and crypto accelerators.
  • •Work with ROM teams to ensure a flawless, immutable Root of Trust and secure first-stage bootloaders, while providing code reviews and architectural mentorship to junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • •5–10 years of embedded software development experience (C/Assembly), with at least 5 years focused on embedded software security architecture.
  • •Proven experience delivering security software for automotive or industrial functional safety/security environments.
  • •Deep understanding of microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex-M/R, RISC-V) plus TrustZone, MPUs, and Hardware Security Modules (HSM).
  • •Hands-on knowledge of full-spectrum HSM services for secure boot and runtime security, including secure communication stacks and life-cycle state management.
