Key Responsibilities

  • •Use a wide variety of power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components.
  • •Perform Dimensional and Visual inspections following standardized methods and established techniques, including surface plate work and standard measuring techniques.
  • •Work from applicable written inspection procedures and engineering drawings to plan and perform dimensional and/or visual inspections on parts, tools, gauges and other equipment.
  • •Accept or refer material for rework or quality review based on findings and document results.
  • •Operate fixed/variable measuring instruments and record inspection data, ensuring conformance with procedures and drawings.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.
  • •Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

  • •A&P License (preferred)
