Job Summary

Partner with software centers and engineering excellence to develop, deploy, and maintain software discipline metrics, processes, templates, and measurement/estimation tools. Aggregate and analyze organizational data to surface trends and improvement needs, validate bases of estimates using historical data, and guide engineering and program teams through measurement and cost estimation techniques. Present recommended approaches and constraints to senior leadership within a small engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

•Work on a small team to support the business measurement strategy and implementation.
•Mentor engineering leaders and program personnel on measurement and cost estimation techniques.
•Aggregate and analyze organizational data to identify trends and improvement needs.
•Validate program basis of estimates using historical data selection.
•Communicate recommended metrics and cost estimation approaches, constraints, and rationale, including presentations to senior leadership.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a BS/BA degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience.

•Experience with data visualization and presentation techniques.
•Experience with project or engineering cost estimation.
•Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance is required after Day 1; U.S. citizenship is required.
