Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the primary internal advocate for Merchant Services across bank business lines, building banker awareness and delivering ongoing enablement (training, workshops, webinars, tools, and sales presentations).
  • •Serve as the day-to-day liaison between the bank and vendor sales leadership to onboard, educate, coordinate joint calling and market activities, and ensure alignment with banker ownership of client relationships.
  • •Develop and execute portfolio penetration and pipeline growth by identifying opportunities, conducting portfolio reviews, running targeted sales campaigns, and tracking KPIs through merchant activation and production.
  • •Provide banker escalation support when merchant services issues may impact the broader banking relationship, coordinating resolution across vendor and internal teams while maintaining risk and operational controls.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with Treasury Management, business lines, Marketing, and Risk/Compliance/Operations to integrate merchant strategies and manage program governance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, economics, or a related field (or equivalent education and experience).
  • •5+ years of experience in merchant acquiring, payments, treasury management, commercial banking, financial services sales, or sales enablement.
  • •Strong understanding of merchant acquiring and payment acceptance (card-present, ecommerce, omnichannel, and integrated payments).
  • •Proven ability to build trusted relationships with bankers, sales professionals, partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • •Ability to manage complex sales opportunities across internal and external stakeholders, with strong organization and travel readiness.
