Key Responsibilities

  • •Contact policyholders regarding property claims within level of authority and conduct investigations, interviews, and inspections to prepare estimates.
  • •Evaluate information to determine coverage and total claim value, set and maintain reserves, and determine payments or denials.
  • •Obtain and review reports, statements, records, and related materials as required; document claim files and submit final reports for closure.
  • •Identify subrogation situations and initiate appropriate action.
  • •Service assigned territory and bring assigned claims to conclusion; may handle litigated claims and coordinate with defense counsel when required.
