Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide day-to-day management, leadership, and values for the team, developing team spirit and cooperation.
  • •Develop client relationships and grow WSP’s brand within the UK and EMEA, including promoting new commissions.
  • •Meet monthly and annual team budgets, support MEP budget planning, improve performance, and maintain up-to-date forecasting.
  • •Oversee team performance including work pipeline, finance, and operational management.
  • •Serve as the client’s key point of contact and support strategic initiatives with the director and senior leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •Either has Chartership through CIBSE/IET/IMechE Engineering Council or is open to working towards it.
  • •Profound mechanical engineering expertise including HVAC, cooling systems, fuel systems, controls, and energy management for data centres.
  • •Demonstrated leadership and team management of mechanical engineers and technicians, including mentoring and resource management.
  • •Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, completion, and ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • •Ability to sketch and communicate technical detail graphically, convey concepts to non-technical stakeholders, collaborate cross-functionally, and present to senior management.
