Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and govern the Concentration of Risk (CoR) framework, including ongoing development, maintenance, and alignment with catastrophe risk appetite, profitability, and capital strategy.
  • •Develop and enhance concentration metrics, thresholds, mitigators, and risk indicators; monitor enterprise concentration trends and emerging risks.
  • •Apply actuarial expertise to identify, define, and design solutions to complex problems, including running catastrophe models and supporting advanced ad-hoc analyses.
  • •Lead analytics and innovation initiatives, such as developing new pricing methodologies or reporting tools and exploring predictive early-warning approaches.
  • •Translate concentration risk findings into actionable recommendations for senior executives and cross-functional teams, partnering with IT, Pricing, and Underwriting on mitigation and decision-making.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree; or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
  • •8 years of actuarial or analytical business experience + ACAS held for 3 years; or 6 years with FCAS.
  • •Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, including developing analysis queries/procedures in Python, R, SQL, SAS, and BI tools.
  • •Demonstrated expertise with actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques used for fact-based decision-making.
  • •Ability to communicate complex solutions and analysis to cross-functional audiences, including executive leadership.
