Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct regular outreach to community members, identify needs, provide follow-up support, and make referrals to appropriate services and resources.
  • •Assist newcomers in accessing and navigating internal and external community resources.
  • •Gather, share, and communicate feedback from immigrant communities to identify trends, needs, and service gaps as a bridge to World Relief.
  • •Build and maintain relationships with community partners and the Community Ambassador team; expand awareness of services and resources through outreach, meetings, workshops, and networking.
  • •Plan and participate in educational groups and community-building activities (in person and virtually), create informational materials in target languages, and document plans, activities, outcomes, referrals, and client files accurately.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 22 - 24.5 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Fluency in Arabic language required; Sudanese Arabic strongly preferred.
  • •Valid driver’s license and regular access to a vehicle, with willingness/ability to drive a 15-passenger van.
  • •Member of an immigrant community.
  • •MS Office skills.
  • •Strong English communication skills and ability to maintain detailed, accurate records.
