Job Summary

Operate a front-end loader to keep the asphalt plant running by ensuring a consistent supply of materials. Move materials between storage and processing areas, load trucks with the correct materials and weight, inspect equipment before use, and perform routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning. Maintain safety and cleanliness across the plant site, assist with general labor and plant support duties, and travel as needed with a portable asphalt plant.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate a front-end loader to ensure proper supply of materials to the asphalt plant, trucks, and assigned areas.
•Transport materials to and from storage and processing areas using the loader.
•Load trucks with correct materials and weight for delivery.
•Inspect equipment prior to operation for safety and maintenance issues.
•Maintain safety and cleanliness of plant premises and assist with plant maintenance, shoveling, grounds cleanup, and general labor as needed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•1-3 years of experience as a loader operator or other heavy equipment operation preferred.
•Must be 18 years or older.
•Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and/or criminal background check.
•Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures, including PPE compliance.
