Job Summary

Lead a software engineering team within CorpTech Platform that builds, ships, and operates production systems at the intersection of AI, software engineering, and reliability. Own delivery, reliability, and the maturity of AI-enabled engineering practices. You’ll set and execute the roadmap, manage and develop engineers and tech leads, establish engineering norms (reviews, testing, release, on-call), and partner with product, AI engineering, platform, and infrastructure stakeholders to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a software engineering team building, shipping, and operating production software at the intersection of AI and software engineering.
•Set and drive the team roadmap across feature delivery, reliability investments, AI-enabled capabilities, and operational improvements.
•Manage, coach, and develop software engineers and tech leads, including hiring, performance management, and succession planning.
•Establish and reinforce engineering norms across design review, code review, testing, release management, on-call, incident response, and production ownership.
•Drive reliability and operational excellence, including observability and preventative work to reduce recurring failures, and raise the bar on applying AI responsibly in engineering workflows.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 220,000 - 292,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience in software engineering and/or reliability engineering, including 2+ years of direct people management of software engineers.
•Proven success managing an engineering team that owned production systems end to end (delivery, reliability, on-call responsibility).
•Strong technical fluency in modern software architectures, APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, observability, and cloud/platform infrastructure.
•Practical experience with AI-enabled software systems and AI-accelerated engineering workflows, including awareness of quality and reliability challenges.
•Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/related field (or equivalent practical experience) and U.S. Person status for access to export controlled data.
