Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a software engineering team building, shipping, and operating production software at the intersection of AI and software engineering.
  • •Set and drive the team roadmap across feature delivery, reliability investments, AI-enabled capabilities, and operational improvements.
  • •Manage, coach, and develop software engineers and tech leads, including hiring, performance management, and succession planning.
  • •Establish and reinforce engineering norms across design review, code review, testing, release management, on-call, incident response, and production ownership.
  • •Drive reliability and operational excellence, including observability and preventative work to reduce recurring failures, and raise the bar on applying AI responsibly in engineering workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in software engineering and/or reliability engineering, including 2+ years of direct people management of software engineers.
  • •Proven success managing an engineering team that owned production systems end to end (delivery, reliability, on-call responsibility).
  • •Strong technical fluency in modern software architectures, APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, observability, and cloud/platform infrastructure.
  • •Practical experience with AI-enabled software systems and AI-accelerated engineering workflows, including awareness of quality and reliability challenges.
  • •Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/related field (or equivalent practical experience) and U.S. Person status for access to export controlled data.
