Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee active UK survey jobs executed by Bedrock-trained contractor crews, ensuring operational, safety, and data-quality standards.
  • •Act as the primary escalation point during live operations, supporting go/no-go and troubleshooting equipment or mission issues.
  • •Step in to directly perform survey operations (equipment load-out, mission planning, deck operations, demobilization) when extra hands are needed.
  • •Support delivery of contractor training and certification, including practical modules and assessing trainee readiness and field readiness.
  • •Support mobilization and logistics for UK/European jobs, maintain detailed job records, and feed lessons learned back into operations and training.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience operating marine technologies related to Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), ideally with at-sea commercial experience.
  • •Experience leading, training, or supervising field crews or technicians in a maritime or offshore environment.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot marine survey equipment, including guiding fixes remotely.
  • •Comfort teaching or mentoring others, assessing readiness, and reinforcing training with real field experience.
  • •Based in, or willing to relocate to, the United Kingdom, with the right to work in the United Kingdom without a visa or work permit.
