Key Responsibilities

  • •Report to the Commissioning Manager and support preparation of home office deliverables with the Principal Commissioning Engineer.
  • •Participate on-site in walk-down inspections, punch listing, and testing, including troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and instrument component issues.
  • •Support commissioning team activities such as manuals development, commissioning and start-up procedures, spares development, and equipment checks/tests.
  • •Participate in commissioning, start-up, and performance testing and resolve operational and maintenance issues during those phases.
  • •Supervise craft personnel for site pre-commissioning and commissioning and coordinate with other engineers and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering.
  • •8–15 years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in a chemical, refinery, or oil & gas processing facility.
  • •Prefer 2+ years of commissioning and start-up experience in the chemical, refinery, or oil & gas industry.
  • •Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions and concepts; strong MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio skills.
