Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise processing of Short-Term Disability (STD) claims to ensure timely and appropriate adjudication.
  • •Ensure achievement of customer service and production objectives for the claims team.
  • •Use file review and coaching to improve examiners’ skills in case strategy, decision-making, negotiation, and communication.
  • •Handle escalated and service-related calls; release and review payments and denial letters within approved authority limits.
  • •Support training and continuous improvement through routine file reviews and ongoing communication with examiners.
