Job Summary

Manage the Group’s Trademark/IP legal section and support trademark registration, opposition, protection, and defense across Group companies. Draft and translate a wide range of corporate and legal instruments (resolutions, powers of attorney, legal warnings, affidavits, and more), and coordinate legal documentation with internal departments. Assist external counsel during proceedings, maintain legal case calendars and databases, and support board documentation and reporting for committees and meetings.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the Group Trademark/IP legal section and advise on trademark registration, opposition, protection, and defense for all Group companies.
•Raise and defend trademark oppositions and attend/appear at hearings to secure trademark, copyright, and IP rights.
•Draft a variety of legal documents, including shareholder and board resolutions, incorporation documents, agreements/contracts, powers of attorney, authorizations, legal warnings, affidavits, and quit claims.
•Translate, revise, and vet legal documents to ensure legal accuracy and conformity; maintain legal databases and case management systems.
•Act as secretary to the Board and specific board committees/meetings by documenting minutes and recording decisions; coordinate with external lawyers and update senior legal counsel on court hearing progress.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Law or Economics (or related major) with a supporting qualification in Technical English.
•5 to 7 years working in a Group legal department or a reputable big law firm, including experience in the Trademark Section/Trademark Office.
•Knowledge of trademarks and IP rights, including registration, protection, and enforcement actions.
•Knowledge of drafting corporate, commercial, and legal documents, plus vetting and translation of legal documents for accuracy.
•Strong technical English skills and strong working knowledge of office software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
