Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee the global monthly close and accounting close process, including developing the corporate close calendar and coordinating deadlines with global accounting teams.
  • •Lead accounting and internal control activities for share-based compensation, bonus plans, foreign currency, intercompany transactions, lease accounting, derivative accounting, and other centralized accounting processes.
  • •Serve as a technical accounting resource by performing research and oversight for complex transactions and new accounting pronouncements; liaise with external auditors on technical accounting positions.
  • •Manage valuation efforts for goodwill impairment testing and M&A transactions, including share-based awards and derivatives.
  • •Lead preparation of quarterly and annual investor/lender financial reporting packages, including financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and disclosure coordination; support M&A accounting initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •CPA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • •8+ years of work experience with demonstrated progression in technical accounting
  • •Current or prior public accounting experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm
  • •Extensive experience in SEC financial reporting, accounting, and financial controls in a public company environment or public accounting firm
  • •Strong GAAP expertise with the ability to conduct technical research and communicate positions to senior leadership and external auditors
