Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive SAP NS2’s Zero Ops vision by defining and executing the technical roadmap for autonomous operations across SAP NS2.
  • •Identify and transform manual, repetitive, or error-prone operational processes into scalable, reusable, automated, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • •Design end-to-end automation workflows from trigger to completion, including detection, data gathering, diagnosis/decision-making, execution, validation, and documentation.
  • •Build production-quality automation services and applications, including APIs, microservices, workflow components, and integrations, using engineering best practices.
  • •Integrate AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., incident analysis and remediation recommendations) with guardrails, auditability, and human oversight, while partnering with Cloud Architecture and SAP technical teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong professional experience in software development/software engineering, including design patterns and production software practices.
  • •Strong proficiency in Python (or comparable modern language) and experience developing APIs, services, integrations, or automation platforms.
  • •Strong hands-on automation experience with Ansible, including reusable playbooks/roles/modules and workflow orchestration.
  • •Strong understanding of REST APIs and enterprise integrations, including event-driven automation and infrastructure/configuration automation.
  • •Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and familiarity with cloud-native concepts (IAM, networking, containers/Kubernetes, observability, cloud security).
