Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle a caseload of varied EL/PL employer and public liability cases for insurance clients using a forensic and analytical approach.
  • •Review and manage claims including evidence review (witness statements, GP/occupational health/personnel records, property inspection reports) and disclosure.
  • •Conduct investigations and deal with routine correspondence throughout the matter lifecycle.
  • •Prepare and draft documents including CMCs and applications, review/report on exchange and receipt of evidence, pre-trial reports, and trial bundles.
  • •Instruct counsel/investigators/medical and other experts, including drafting questions and costs schedules, and attend conferences and trials with counsel.
