Job Summary

Solicit residential first mortgage loans by building relationships with realtors, builders, and developers, handling referrals, and following up with prospective borrowers. Interview applicants, collect required documentation, and analyze financial data to make credit decisions. Maintain product and underwriting knowledge, use daily rates and credit reports (including DU responses) to support loan processing, and deliver complete loan packages to the processor while delivering strong customer service and attending lending meetings.

•Use daily rates, credit reports, and DU responses; transmit information to the processor.
•Collect applicant documentation and deliver the loan package to the processor in a timely manner while providing strong customer service.

Key Requirements

•Equivalent to a four-year college degree plus 4 years related experience and/or training.
•2 years related management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to read, analyze, and understand business/company articles and professional journals; speak effectively with customers or employees.
•Ability to calculate figures and amounts (e.g., interest, commissions, proportions, percentages) and apply math concepts to practical situations.
•Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization and interpret written, oral, or diagram instructions.
