Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee accounting operations and general ledger control, including daily transaction booking, cost-center allocation, and maintaining accurate sub-ledgers with no backlog.
  • •Own A/P vendor payment cycles and early-stage A/R and cash matching, including bank reconciliations across corporate, operational, and escrow accounts.
  • •Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory and IFRS financial statements, and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.
  • •Manage fixed assets and capital projects accounting by maintaining the fixed asset register and supporting EPC invoice/variation/retention accounting and verification.
  • •Ensure tax compliance and customs adherence, develop accounting policies and internal controls, and support ERP/finance system selection, UAT, and historical data migration.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified in Finance, Accountancy, or Business.
  • •Professional accounting qualification highly preferred (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or DipIFR).
  • •Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • •Minimum 3 years of combined work experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • •Experience with IFRS reporting, ERP/finance systems, and fixed asset/capital project accounting.
