Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate all machines and auxiliary equipment within applicable departments.
  • •Diagnose and remedy minor machine problems; report operating difficulties and assist the Tool setter as required.
  • •Inspect product and components visually/dimensionally using gauges and inspection equipment (e.g., micrometers, tensile tester, hardness tester).
  • •Maintain safe operation and perform minor preventative maintenance tasks such as lubricating assigned equipment.
  • •Maintain production records, keep the work area clean/orderly, and meet/exceed set production levels (including overtime if needed).
