Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute or assist with strategic program Parts, Materials & Process Management Plans (PMPMP) to meet obsolescence and DMSMS requirements.
  • •Collaborate across IPT disciplines to identify and resolve component obsolescence and shortage issues.
  • •Interpret program requirements and statements of work (SOWs) to understand component application requirements.
  • •Collect, compile, distribute, and interpret Program Bill of Materials (BOMs), creating reports, summaries, and presentations for leadership and customers.
  • •Data-mine and manipulate large Excel spreadsheets to isolate and status component lifecycle data, and provide technical support for alternate part recommendations, including reviewing technical drawings/specifications.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in product development lifecycles for electronics manufacturing processes.
  • •Ability to interpret technical data packages (TDP), assess technical and schedule risks/opportunities, and create professional data reports with cost-reduction concepts.
  • •Must be eligible to apply and procure a DoD Secret Security Clearance within 1 year of accepting the position.
  • •Understanding of the Parts Manager role, including familiarity with parts, suppliers, and basic parts obsolescence concepts.
  • •Capacity to interpret and report obsolescence tracking matrices and support resolution of component obsolescence and shortages.
