Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate externally facing infrastructure, applications, cloud services, DNS, certificates, APIs, and Internet technologies to identify exposure and recommend remediation.
  • •Research emerging attack vectors and threat trends to improve defensive awareness and organizational capabilities.
  • •Perform technical investigations using multiple security tools and data sources to validate findings, determine root cause, and separate meaningful risk from false positives.
  • •Monitor and manage the external attack surface by tracking newly identified assets, vulnerabilities, configuration issues, and emerging risks; conduct rescans and validate mitigations.
  • •Support incident investigations for Internet-facing technologies by rapidly assessing technical findings and coordinating investigation and remediation with cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience across multiple enterprise networking and Internet technologies such as DNS, HTTP/S, TLS, routing, VPNs, proxies, CDNs, load balancing, WAFs, and firewalls.
  • •Strong packet analysis skills, including PCAP interpretation using tools like Wireshark and tcpdump.
  • •Experience with cloud infrastructure and Internet-facing services, plus vulnerability management and external attack surface management.
  • •Ability to conduct OSINT research and apply security operations and threat intelligence concepts to investigate ambiguous technical issues.
  • •Scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) is recommended, alongside the ability to independently research unfamiliar technologies and solve complex problems.
