Join the Agentforce Optimization Agent team building an AI-native observability platform for agentic systems. Key Responsibilities

•Build scalable data pipelines to query, process, and analyze agent session data from Data Cloud with sub-second latency requirements.
•Develop Agent Studio integrations that surface optimization insights in Sessions & Details views, working across the full stack from React frontend to backend services.
•Optimize agent reasoning performance by improving latency through output token optimization, reasoning step reduction, and tool call chaining.
•Integrate observability features into Salesforce Core, ensuring reliability across multi-tenant, multi-cloud production environments with strict security and compliance requirements.
•Own features end-to-end from backend services (Java/Python) to data queries and UI components, through customer deployment.

Salary: USD 117,200 - 176,700 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience building and scaling distributed backend systems or platform services in production with strong proficiency in Java, Python, or a comparable language.
•Exposure to agentic AI frameworks or LLM-integrated products.
•Demonstrated AI-first engineering approach, using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to increase speed and fluency across the stack.
•Advanced prompt engineering skills to write precise, structured prompts and create system context for reliable, secure, production-ready AI outputs.
•A related technical degree required.
