Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage operational functions for the Case Ready Value Add division and coordinate with facilities to achieve safety, labor, cost, and yield targets.
  • •Develop new product operating procedures and identify, manage, and communicate operational improvement opportunities.
  • •Communicate and monitor overall capacity for the business unit, coordinating with Operations, FSQA, and Margin Management.
  • •Own operational issues as they arise, including yields, production opportunities, and quality issues.
  • •Champion core values and deliver financial/business objectives such as capital projects, conversion cost goals, yield goals, inventory levels, and total plant capacity.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent experience) with a college degree preferred.
  • •5+ years of related industry experience, with experience supporting operations in a pork or beef meat processing facility preferred.
  • •Knowledge of OSHA, USDA, and HACCP regulations, and familiarity with food and industrial processes.
  • •Demonstrated ability to motivate and drive plant personnel and lead teams by example.
  • •Excellent communication, leadership, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills with strong safety and attendance records.
