Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the appointed Regulated Financial Reporting Actuary for designated insurance entities in accordance with state insurance regulations.
  • •Prepare and sign the annual Statement of Actuarial Opinion (SAO) on reserves and complete the Actuarial Opinion Summary (AOS) for statutory filings.
  • •Oversee reserve development, review, and certification; evaluate reserve adequacy using actuarial methodologies and perform sensitivity analyses.
  • •Assess capital adequacy and solvency positions under stress scenarios and support enterprise risk management and ORSA processes.
  • •Present reserve analyses and actuarial findings to senior management, Board committees, and regulators; maintain actuarial documentation and files.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 225,000 - 275,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • •Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and member in good standing of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
  • •Minimum 10+ years of actuarial experience in life insurance.
  • •5+ years of experience in reserve analysis or a Regulated Financial Reporting Actuary role.
  • •Must meet NAIC qualification standards to sign Statements of Actuarial Opinion (SAO) for statutory filings.
