Job Summary

Develop and agree the list of goods or services required for allocated projects, including timelines and delivery lead-times. Lead RFQ issuance to qualified vendors with project documentation, ensure consistent supplier information, and support value engineering opportunities. Obtain and analyze bids, coordinate technical/commercial discussions, and negotiate pricing, payment options, and contract terms. Manage indent requests and requisition completeness, including contract signature and vendor performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and agree the required goods/services list for allocated projects, including timelines and delivery lead-times.
•Issue RFQs to qualified vendors with relevant project documents and LOI terms/conditions in coordination with the project team.
•Obtain and analyze quote(s)/bids in line with established policies and procedures.
•Study client technical requirements/specifications and supplier/manufacturer quotes for compliance, and highlight details to Designs/Projects teams.
•Negotiate with vendors, process indent/material requests with BOQ and approvals, and evaluate supplier performance through gathered information and reports.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant procurement category within engineering.
•Bachelor of Engineering in the relevant category.
•Knowledge of procurement terms and conditions, and of contracts and techno-commercial issues.
•Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
•Proficiency with MS Office and appropriate software, plus good negotiation and communication skills.
