Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, pay out, and handle cash and negotiable items, including loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance teller station, including safeguarding assigned bank assets.
  • •Record sales of monetary instruments and maintain a neat, well-stocked teller area.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services while following limits and bank policies for customer account protection and safety.
  • •Float between branch locations as needed; assist with balancing vault/ATM/night drop/coin machine, scanning documents, and related duties.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with emphasis on office/shop skills, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.
  • •Ability to effectively communicate with customers, clients, the public, and employees in person and in small groups.
  • •Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using money and other forms of measurement.
  • •Ability to use common sense to carry out simple multi-step instructions and handle standardized situations with limited variables.
