Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise Canadian operations on negotiation, drafting, and interpretation of contracts, especially for Transportation and Infrastructure.
  • •Guide project teams with timely strategic legal advice throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Draft and review legal documents, including WSP contract templates, commercial agreements, and project-specific documentation.
  • •Review and support the negotiation of public and private tender calls, and help prepare proposals for major projects using alternative delivery models.
  • •Evaluate business opportunities and risk profiles, make clear recommendations to internal risk committees, and support governance and compliance with applicable laws.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 103,500 - 151,800 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Be a member in good standing of a Canadian provincial bar.
  • •Have at least 5 years of relevant legal experience, ideally in corporate work involving transport and infrastructure projects, construction, or engineering.
  • •Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements in construction or engineering contexts.
  • •Know traditional and alternative delivery methods (including collaborative agreements and related arrangements).
  • •Bilingualism in French and English is required.
