Key Responsibilities

  • •De-risk new directions by evaluating technical paths for ambiguous product bets and building working examples with clear tradeoffs.
  • •Prototype at the frontier by working hands-on with newest models and agent tooling, translating approaches into working software inside Dia.
  • •Deliver handoff-ready prototypes with deliberate, explainable architecture decisions for production teams to extend.
  • •Work in the open by sharing learnings, approaches, and demos to influence team thinking and product decisions.
  • •Sharpen prototyping and evaluation infrastructure to explore and validate ideas faster.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of professional experience building software, with an engineering background or a product/design background with strong technical understanding.
  • •Constant AI-building experience with frontier models (agents, tools, prototypes, or shipped features) and the ability to show what you built.
  • •Strong EQ and communication to clearly explain the “why” behind your experiments.
  • •Ability to work with North America time zones, requiring 4+ hours of overlap with Eastern Time.
  • •Resonance with company values and ability to help scale the team with those values in mind.
